Vietnamese Spring Roll Dipping Sauce
150 mL Water
150 g Sugar
32 mL Lime Juice (1 - 2 Tablespoon)
2 Birds Eye Chilli
1 Shallot
2 Garlic Cloves
Fish Sauce - to taste
Finely mince the birds eye chilli, shallot, and garlic. Mix all ingredients together and let rest overnight before use.
Gyoza Dipping Sauce
Water - 150 mL
Soy Sauce - 150 mL
Sugar - to taste
Black Vinegar - 1 teaspoon
Sesame Oil - 1 teaspoon
Raw Minced Garlic - handful
Chilli Oil - to taste
Cilantro - handful
Green onions - handful
Bring water and soy sauce to a boil. Add in sugar and vinegar. In a separate bowl, add in the minced garlic, green onions, cilantro, sesame oil, and chilli oil if you like it spicy. Pour soy sauce mixture into bowl.
Wonton Soup (Chicken Broth Version)
Chicken broth - 1 Cup
Soy Sauce - 1 - 2 Tbsp
White Pepper - dash
Green Onions - garnish
Fried Shallots (Crispy fried onions) - garnish
Onion Powder (Optional) - dash
Garlic Powder (optional) - dash
Sesame oil - drizzle
Bring chicken broth to a boil. Add in seasonings. Drizzle some sesame oil into the broth or bowl. Pour chicken broth into bowl, and garnish with green onions and crispy shallots.
